The Tree ID Contest at the Georgia National Fair was held Saturday morning
at the GNF in Perry.  There were 118 participants in the contest.  Appling
County Middle School took both the Junior Chapter Champion and Junior
Reserve Chapter Champion and the Senior Chapter Champion winner was Camden
County and the Senior Reserve Champion was Jefferson County High.  The fair
awards the top 10 individuals in both the Junior and Senior event and they
were as follows:
Junior Division
1- Tyler Claxton - Perry High
2 - Miquel Zavala - Appling County Middle
3 - Dustin Bellah - Appling County Middle
4 - Austin Bellah - Appling County Middle
5 - Zach Thrift - Brantley County High
6 - Mericela Zavala - Appling County Middle
7 - Pamela Bush - Appling County Middle
8 - Jolie Meyen - Oglethorpe County
9 - Micah Henry - Wheeler County High
10 - Jordan Dyal - Appling County Middle

Senior Division
1 - Zach Nemeth - Camden County
2 - Serenia Larrison - Camden County
3 - Richard Thompson - Brantley County High
4 - Logan Miller - Camden County
5 - Jonathon Hatcher - Perry High
6 - Ricky Sikes - Bleckley County
7 - Nathan Chance - Jefferson County
8 - Tyler Langston - Thomas County Central
9 - Daniel Ogdon - Camden Coounty
10 - Zach Dalton - White County
