FFA Advisors,

The University of Georgia Department of Poultry Science is making available a fabulous opportunity for your students, called the Avian Adventures program. Avian Adventures is a three-day, action-packed journey that allows high school students to learn about various aspects of poultry and avian science research, such as microbiology, surgery techniques, anatomy, and reproduction. Students will obtain and apply new skills and hopefully have fun sharing a unique educational experience.

The dates for the 2010 Avian Adventures program are Wednesday, June 23, 2010 to Friday, June 25, 2010. Please feel free to download an application from the Avian Adventures webpage, which can be found at:

Here, you will also find a tentative agenda for this year's program. The application for the 2010 Avian Adventures program is due on May 15, 2010. Please feel free to share this application and information with any friends or associates that you think would be interested. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call me in the office at (706) 542-9153 or simply reply to this message.

Sincerely,
