Whole Foods Seeks Southeast Crops Whole Foods is looking for regional producers of: artichokes, asparagus, broccoli, brussel sprouts, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chard, colored bell peppers, dandelion, fennel, grape or cherry tomatoes, green onions, heirloom apples, kohlrabi, leaf lettuce, leeks, pears, raspberries, and spinach. If selling an organic product, it must be certified organic. It must list the certifier and origin on new and clean boxes. Consistency on packing, same weight/count for all boxes, is required as well as $1 million of product liability insurance. There is no minimum quantity, and they would prefer to start small with new vendors. Deliveries must meet USDA standards, and quality is the most important thing. Delivery can be to one of the Whole Foods stores or the Distribution Center in Braselton.
