Dr. Denise Carroll with Georgia Southern University has a unique summer staff development workshop involving the Satilla River. Participants can earn up to 8 PLUs, Project Wet and Wild Certification, and take home cool classroom materials.
The workshop is a collaboration with Okefenokee RESA, Okefenokee Swamp, Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, and Georgia Southern University.
It is from June 21-28.  Everything is paid (except some meals) for the first 5 teachers that sign-up.
