The Putnam County FFA Dairy Evaluation Team was invited to the All-American Youth Dairy Judging Contest in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania this past weekend. The came back as the 2nd place overall team. They judged 10 classes of cows with all 5 major breeds represented and gave 3 sets of reasons. They won the Brown Swiss and Guernsey classes and placed second in Reasons. Putnam County FFA member Kari Crandall was the High Individual in Ayrshires and Brown Swiss.
Congratulations to Mrs. Callie Landford, Putnam County FFA Advisor and her team! They will be representing Georgia at the National FFA Dairy Evaluation Contest in October during FFA National Convention.
