The Outdoor Classroom Council Grant, a project of the Environmental Education Alliance (EEA) of Georgia, is now accepting applications for mini-grants ranging from $50-$500 to support outdoor learning in Georgia.

Grants can be used to fund any of the following:
• materials or equipment to create or revitalize an outdoor learning space
• supplies to conduct an outdoor learning activity
• equipment to improve classroom management outdoors
• costs to train teachers or volunteers in outdoor education

The deadline to apply is December 3, 2010.

Lowe's Toolbox for Education Grants

Lowe’s Toolbox for Education awards $5 million annually to non-profit public schools (K-12) and 501c(3) parent groups (PTO, PTA, etc.) across the U.S. Grants range from $2,000 to $5,000.

Only the first 1,500 applications per grant period are considered. Apply by February 18, 2011.
