WHAT: The majority of the contest will be in coolers and freezers. DRESS WARMLY! DRESS WARMLY!

All students will need to bring: WARM CLOTHING, clip board, pencils, and CLEAN hard hats.
Senior Team Members will also need a battery operated, non-programmable calculator
WHERE: Athens, Georgia - Animal and Dairy Science Building - UGA
WHEN: Saturday, December 4, 2010
Sign-In: 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM
Contest will beging at 9:00 AM
HOW: Seniors: test from "Yellow Pages" Book (20 questions), Meat Formulation Problem, 40 ID cuts, 5 Placing Classes, Questions on Placing Classes, and Beef Yield and Quality Grading.
HOW: Juniors: test from "Yellow Pages" Book (10 questions), 25 ID cuts, 5 Placing Classes, Questions on Placing Classes.
WHY: To develop decision-making skills and leadership skills in FFA members while broadening their horizons. This is a great contest for any student to help become a better consumer.
OTHER: No cellphones. Refer to State and National CDE rules for assistance. If you have any questions, please call your Area Animal Science Teacher.
