Teachers, Attached is an update on the National FFA scholarship applications from Georgia. If you have students applying for these scholarships, please take a minute to review the attached file. All online parts of the application must be complete by tomorrow, February 15, at 5:00 p.m. Signature pages are then due postmarked by next Tuesday, February 22. The attached file will provide a "status" for each student application that has been started. Below is a description of what each "status" means. Please ask your advisors to review the status of their applicants and respond accordingly. The definition of each status is below: * Started: The student has started the application but has not submitted for advisor approval. * Pending Advisor Approval: The student has completed the application and submitted it to their advisor for electronic approval. * Awaiting Signature Page: The advisor has approved the student's application. The student can now access the signature page to print, sign, and send into the National FFA Center. * Completed: The National FFA Center has received the student's signature page and no further action is needed unless notified. The application is located on the FFA website at www.ffa.org (click Programs, then Scholarships). The deadline to submit the 2011 Scholarship Application online is 5pm EST on February 15th.
