Teachers,
FYI….I know that many of
you will be in Perry the rest of this week. When you return, if you have students
who applied for National FFA Scholarships, please remember to print signature
pages and mail them no later than February 22! Applications are not considered
FINAL until signature pages are received.
The scholarship system closed at
5:30 p.m. today. If a student has not submitted the online portion of the scholarship
application, their application will not be reviewed. At this point, the only
steps that can still be taken are 1) advisor review, 2) print signature page
and 3) mail signature page.
Let me know if you have
questions.

Subject: FW: Scholarship update.
As you are aware the scholarship server went down today for
approximately 10 minutes. When this happened our calls went through the
roof. Approximately 10 minutes from the time the server went down until
we had contacted our provider the system was back up and accepting
applications. Once the system went back up the calls and emails volume
dropped to normal levels as expected for the day of a deadline.
Teachers still have access to the system to review and
approve applications. Once an advisor approves the application, students
still have access to print signature pages. Signature pages must be
signed and post marked by February 22nd. The system will allow
for review, approval, and printing of signature pages until 11:59 p.m. on February 22.
If you have teachers contact you with concerns, please feel
free to have them contact Jim Armbruster, 317-802-4334, [log in to unmask].
