As a quick summary, this tour gives consumers the opportunity to test drive the 2011 F-150 EcoBoost before it comes out in local dealerships. For every test drive that is taken during this tour, Ford is donating $10 to either Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, or Future Farmers of America (it is the consumers choice on which charity their test drive benefits). Ford supports the FFA Alumni Association by providing the auction truck for each convention, and would like to continue this support through the EcoBoost tour. How the tour works, is consumers can go online to www.drivef150ecoboost.com to schedule their personal test drive, and a product specialist will pick them up right from your home or work. This gives consumers the opportunity to check out the vehicle in a pressure free environment since it is product specialists, and not salesmen, giving the test drives.
I am going to be in Atlanta February 23rd-24th, and still have 100 open test drive slots, so I thought I would email you so you could try to fill them with FFA Alumni in order to raise some money for your organization. You can either send out an email blast to create awareness, or if you would like, I can give you a truck(s) for a block of time and you can create an event around it. Past FFA branches have also been VERY successful in raising money by reaching out to supporting corporations and send the truck to them for some time to let their employees test drive.
