Hello all,

A colleague in Agriculture Education, Dr. Glen Shinn at Texas A&M University is currently engaged in helping to rebuild agriculture and establishing agricultural education in Afghanistan. He would like to use the state of Georgia as a model for creating food preservation centers (canning plants) across Afghanistan. Von Peavey has been the best source of information on canning plants thus far, but Dr. Shinn is in need of additional information.

If any of you have and are willing can you please send me any information regarding establishing, operating, managing, etc canning plants. Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.
