As you all know, the Alumni Convention will be held the Saturday morning of the State FFA Convention. The Alumni would like to recognize two outstanding Alumni Affiliates from each Region at the Saturday morning Alumni business session. You have the opportunity to nominate your Affiliate for either the Outstanding Affiliate Award or the Pioneer Affiliate Award. The nomination is very short and we definitely need two good Affiliates from South Region to be recognized. This is a great way to boost the momentum of you Alumni and let them know you appreciate their involvement.

Tell us why your local alumni affiliate should be recognized by the Georgia FFA Alumni Association. Awards will be presented to Outstanding Affiliates and Outstanding Pioneer Affiliates. The Pioneer Affiliates are those charted five years or less or affiliates that have been reactivated after being inactive for more than five years. To submit your affiliate, simply answer the following questions. All nominations must be emailed to Stan Mitchell, GA FFA Alumni executive secretary, at [log in to unmask], by Monday, April 25.
 
1.       Briefly tell us about activities you conducted throughout the past year to raise membership for the local alumni affiliate.
 
2.       Briefly tell us about activities conducted with the FFA Chapter. This can include fund-raising activities, welcome back parties, officer trainings, coach judging team, chaperone events, guest speaker in classroom, etc.
 
3.       Tell us about any activities the local alumni affiliate has participated in above the local level.
