Subject: Nominate the next Farm Mom of the Year!
To: "[log in to unmask]" <[log in to unmask]>

 Good afternoon,

I wanted to inform you of an opportunity I thought might be of interest to
folks attending the Georgia FFA State Convention this month. From now until
Mother’s Day, anyone can nominate their favorite farm mom for the *2011
America’s Farmers Mom of the Year* *award*, at www.americasfarmers.com. This
program honors moms of farming families, recognizing the countless
contributions they make every day. Last year’s national Farm Mom, Carol
Cowan, lives in Watonga, Oklahoma and helps her husband grow wheat,
soybeans, alfalfa and raise cattle. I’m sure you know of someone in Georgia
who is deserving of the Farm Mom of the Year award!

As of today, there is less than one month left in the nomination period!
Please help me spread the word and encourage nominations for America’s
Farmers Mom of the Year. I’ve attached a flyer and news release, and
included information below that you could use in emails or newsletters to
spread the word. Please let me know if you will be able to distribute these
items. Please let me know if you would like hard copies of these documents
and I would be happy to provide them for you.

Thank you so much for your time! Please feel free to contact me with
questions you may have.

Have a great day!

Katherine

*Nominate the next Farm Mom of the Year! *

Monsanto is excited to announce its America’s Farmers Mom of the Year 2011
program, designed to recognize the countless contributions that farm moms
bring to their families, farms and communities.

Beginning March 3, anyone can nominate their favorite farm mom. Five
regional winners will be selected by American Agri-Women, and each will win
a $5,000 cash prize from Monsanto. Online voting will determine the National
Farm Mom of the Year and winner of an additional $2,500.

Anyone can nominate a farm mom – simply visit www.americasfarmers.com by
Mother’s Day (May 8) and tell us in 300 words or less how the mom you’re
nominating embodies the family farm way of life. Regional winners will be
notified May 13, and online voting will take place May 16-26. We will tally
the votes and announce our National Farm Mom of the Year on May 27, 2011.

Thank you to ALL farm moms for the hard work they do. Your favorite farm mom
could be this year’s national winner!

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To be eligible, a mom must be at least 18 years of
age and work on a farm that produces at least 250 acres of corn, soybeans,
cotton, vegetables and/or specialty crops (canola, sorghum, wheat or
alfalfa); and/or at least 40 acres of fruits and vegetables; and/or raise at
least 100 head of cattle or hogs; and/or maintain at least 50 head of dairy
cows and/or at least 20,000 poultry (broilers or layers) within the United
States. Winners will be selected based on the judging criteria set forth in
the Official Rules. For a copy of the official rules of this contest, please
