Good afternoon,

I wanted to inform you of an opportunity I thought might be of interest to folks attending the Georgia FFA State Convention this month. From now until Motherís Day, anyone can nominate their favorite farm mom for the 2011 Americaís Farmers Mom of the Year award, at This program honors moms of farming families, recognizing the countless contributions they make every day. Last yearís national Farm Mom, Carol Cowan, lives in Watonga, Oklahoma and helps her husband grow wheat, soybeans, alfalfa and raise cattle. Iím sure you know of someone in Georgia who is deserving of the Farm Mom of the Year award!

As of today, there is less than one month left in the nomination period! Please help me spread the word and encourage nominations for Americaís Farmers Mom of the Year. Iíve attached a flyer and news release, and included information below that you could use in emails or newsletters to spread the word. Please let me know if you will be able to distribute these items. Please let me know if you would like hard copies of these documents and I would be happy to provide them for you.

Thank you so much for your time! Please feel free to contact me with questions you may have.

Have a great day!
