June 21-24: Landscape Design, Installation and Maintenance: From start to finish this workshop will teach you how to take a given site, conduct a site analysis, draw a plan, install the plants and hardscapes (rock walls and water features) and how to plant, mulch, prune, fertilize and provided environmentally sound maintenance techniques to an established landscape. Hands-On and Dirty ! (Max of 20 teachers)

July 19-21: Plant Science Experiments: This workshop will provide teachers with expanded content knowledge and laboratory/field experience in the area of plant science. Topics include plant anatomy and physiology as well as the growing environment with a focus on hands-on lab activities appropriate for the agriscience classroom. Experiments related to leaf function, root systems, floral anatomy, seed germination, plant tropisms, and basic pathology.
Goal: Inspire educators to take hands on lab experiences back to their students and teach with renewed enthusiasm and inspiration.
