FFA Alumni Development Conference
closes June 15!
Join us July 20-24 in Little Rock, Arkansas! Open to all FFA Alumni members; this conference features networking opportunities, educational workshops on advocacy and affiliate development, educational tours and the sites of our host city. Check out the conference agenda and make sure your state is represented! You don’t want to miss this opportunity to fellowship with Alumni from across the country and motivate yourself and energize your Alumni affiliate! The conference will also dedicate time for training state and local leaders with Administrative Rights for the Agricultural Career Network launching in September. APPLICANTS NEEDED - Alumni Council Positions Open
Two at-large positions on the National FFA Alumni Council will be elected in October at National FFA Alumni Convention. All FFA Alumni members are eligible to run for these two positions. To learn more about the role and expectations of the Council and the At-Large members, click here. Council Applications are due to National July 1.
Awards & LPS Grant Deadline Reminder
National FFA Alumni offers awards to recognize both the work of the local FFA Alumni affiliate or state association as well as the contributions of individual members. All award applications must be postmarked to National by July 1.
FFA Chapters with a nationally chartered, active FFA Alumni affiliate are eligible to apply for $1,000 Local Program Support Grants. The application must be postmarked to National by July 1.
Starting a local FFA Alumni affiliate handbook
For those who have struggled to direct people to resources and provide instructions on starting a new FFA Alumni affiliate, you’ll be happy to know we’ve compiled a handbook! This handbook can be printed or emailed to teachers/community members interested in starting a local FFA Alumni affiliate. Covering reasons to have a local FFA Alumni to steps to organizing, it’s sure to be a useful tool! You can find it, along with a number of other helpful documents under the “Affiliate Resources” section at www.ffa.org/alumni.

The National FFA Alumni is always looking for stories to feature on our blog. If you want to feature an event/program/activity that your local or state FFA Alumni conducts or recognize outstanding Alumni members for their service or achievements, submit a short write-up (up to 300 words) along with a photo to Lucy Whitehead at [log in to unmask].
