Floral Design CDE Details
For Area CDE:
Seniors Skills test will be a circular table arrangement  or bridal bouquet
(TIP: know how to make using bouquet holder and hand tied without a holder) 
Junior Skills test will be a bud vase, corsage or boutonniere
 
What to bring: Each student and teacher will need one of each of the below supplies.
* Note: students may only bring the below items into the contest area, they may not bring and will be pentalized for using supplies brought from home (ribbon, tape, accessories, etc)
All the decorative and mechanical supplies for the constest will be provided at the students station or on the supply table.
 

A. Junior Division (6-9th) : Hand broom, dust pan, paper towels, tool box with equipment: (scissors, knife (optional), wire cutters, Band-Aids, etc) 5-gallon bucket, 1-gallon jug of water, clip board, pen/pencil

B. Seniors Division (9-12th): Hand broom, dust pan, paper towels, tool box with equipment: (scissors, knife (optional), wire cutters, Band-Aids, etc) 5-gallon bucket, 1-gallon jug of water, clip board, pen/pencil, holder to support a bouquet holder

C. Teachers: Payment for supplies /t-shirt, (Cash or Checks made to North Region Ag Ed) & Medical supply kit

Agenda: Do do arrive to contest site prior to 4 p.m

4 - 4:30 p.m.: Check in / Payment for supplies

4:30 p.m. : Welcome /Announcements /Participants to Station

4:45 pm -6:00 pm. : Junior Skills Test

4:45 pm -5:15 pm : Senior Skills Test

5:30 p.m.-6:30 pm : Senior Written and Plant ID

5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. : Florist Judging Skills Test

6:45 p.m.: Announcement and Presentation of Awards to Winners

7:00 p.m.: Clean up and Exit building

What to wear:
Photos of students and teacher will be taken and a news release provided. 
Students should wear their official FFA dress or Khaki/ black pants with chapter FFA shirt.
Teachers please ask students to stick to the above dress code.
