*Farm Business Management CDE Details

The Area 4 CDE will be held at Southeastern Technicial College in the *Butch
Parrish Building* on Tuesday  Nov. 15, 2011.

The Area 3 CDE will be held at Upson Lee High School *in room 517 (the ag
classroom) *on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011.

 *CDE Information *

 Registration will begin at 4pm.  The CDE will begin at 4:30pm.
*Team Members will only be taking the 50 question multiple choice exam at
the area competition.  This part of the CDE is done individually.

Needed Items:
*Students will need to bring a *pencil and a non-programmable
calculator*with them.

*Rules: *
This event is open to students in grades 9-12 who are agricultural
education students, and are paid members of a chartered FFA chapter. Each
member of the team must be a member of the chapter registering them, and
each studentís name must appear on the chapterís FFA roster at least 10
days prior to competition above the chapter level.

This CDE has a national level competition; student's who are already a
member of a state winning CDE team/event are not eligible to participate
and no student on the state winning farm business team is eligible to
participate in any other CDE until after the national competition. The
event is limited to one team per chapter at the area level. The top two
teams from each area will compete at the state level.

A team consists of three or four members. Only the top three test scores
are counted towards the team score. Please check the Ag Ed website for the
revised Farm Business Management CDE guidelines to also assist in preparing
for this event.



 Deadline to register your team is Friday, December 11th.

Area 3 - Peach County, LaGrange High, Pike County High, Warner Robins High,
Dutchtown, Ola, and Eagle's Landing
