The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will be holding a National
Archery in the Schools Program workshop for teachers Thursday April 5 at
Northside Warner Robins High School from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Teachers will
be certified as basic archery instructors to teach the archery program in
school. Schools that send two or more teachers (at least one P.E. or Ag) to
the workshop qualify for a $1,500 equipment grant to use at their school.

The NASP is available to schools nationwide and more than 9,000 schools
participate from 4th to 12th grade. Many schools form teams in elementary,
middle and high school divisions to shoot in regional and state
competitions held by the state's wildlife agency.
