Teachers, Today is the last day to register for the North Region Area 1 and 2 Middle School and Senior Division Wood Fabrication CDE's. The Area CDE's will be held in conjunction with the spring teachers meetings. The Area 2 CDE's will be at Elbert County High School on Tuesday, April 10th. The Area 1 CDE's will be held at Gordon Central High School on Thursday, April 12th. Each school may enter no more than* 3 student projects in each division* at the area level. The top 2 individuals from each division will advance to the State CDE which will be held at the State FFA Convention in Macon. Please refer to the Career Development Guides on the Georgia Agricultural Education Website for detailed information regarding the CDE's. Please read and follow the instructions on the registration form to register your students. All projects need to be in place no later that 5:00 pm in order to be eligible for judging. I will send out more details regarding where the projects need to go at each of the schools before the date for the spring teacher's meetings. Remember that there will be* no interview at the Area level *and students are not required to be present. The top two from each division who advance to the *State CDE will need to be present and will be required to go through the interview process*. All other documentation as stated in the Wood Fabrication CDE Guide is required for the Area CDE.
