The dates for the Georgia Junior Cattlemen’s Association Beef Industry Scholarship Challenge have been set for May 25 - 26, 2012.  Please encourage your students to consider the intellectual challenges and opportunities offered by this event.  It will be held on campus at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton.  This outstanding program is designed to offer scholarship funds to passionate students who want to engage in hands-on, real-world scenarios that beef cattle producers deal with every day.  This two-day event is packed full of exciting learning opportunities that will help prepare competitors for their futures!

How does the appeal of $10,000 in scholarship funds sound to you?  Please contact Dallas Duncan, Director of Communications & Youth Activities of the Georgia Cattlemen's Association, to discuss details.  She can be reached at 478/474-6560 or [log in to unmask].  Also, please refer to Page 91 of the April 2012 issue of the GEORGIA CATTLEMAN for an entry form and more details.
