Day one will focus on design basics for rain gardens, plant selection,
maintenance, and we will install a rain garden at a local site in Auburn.
On the second day attendees will take an exam and receive their
certification. This is a remarkable learning opportunity and will provide
landscape professionals with a certification from the Alabama Cooperative
Extension System for the design and installation of rain gardens!****

This workshop will provide landscape professionals (individuals, companies,
or Municipal maintenance divisions that design, install, and maintain
landscapes) with the opportunity to learn about how rain gardens can be
used to capture, hold, and infiltrate stormwater runoff. Rain gardens are a
great water quality best management practice that can be implemented at a
residential or commercial scale. ****
