Teachers -
As you begin the new school year remember that you must have a live plant license to sell plants your students grow in your school greenhouse.

If you are a new teacher or starting a new program use the following link:

http://agr.georgia.gov/licensing-and-inspection.aspx

Click on the "Live Plant License - online" to complete the application.  There is no fee for non profit groups.

If you currently have a live plant license they will expire on December 31st.  You should receive information in the mail or by email about renewing for 2014.

Always have your live plant license on display -- I laminated mine and had it in my greenhouse.  It wasn't often, but I did have a few surprise visits by inspectors and that was the first thing they checked.
