Agents and Teachers,

Please find attached the pen assignments for the swine show at the Georgia National Fair this week.  I have also included the barn layouts so that you can identify where your pens are within the barn.  SS1 is Sheep/Swine 1, also known as the old barn or upper barn or the west barn.  SS2 is Sheep/Swine 2, also known as the new barn, the lower barn or the east barn.  Each group (County or Chapter) that entered pigs is assigned pens for the pigs entered by the group.  If you requested to be penned together, then hopefully your pens are adjacent to each other (or across aisle).   If I failed to get all of the groups that wanted to pen together or be close each other together I apologize,  I did the best I could with the numbers I had to work with.  While, I was able to get most groups in the barn they requested, I was not able to fulfill most of the location requests within the barn.

We are expecting just under 1000 head in the barns.  Pens were assigned based on the number of pigs entered/coming to the show.  Breeding gilts were penned 1 gilt/pen, while market swine were penned at 1.5 pigs/pen.  Both barns are full.  Please use only those pens that you are assigned.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
