During the last month you have received several email requests for your assistance in participating in an online survey regarding professional learning opportunities for agricultural educators. Many of you have participated,
while others have yet to do so. If you have completed the survey, your participation is greatly appreciated and you do NOT need to complete the survey again. If you have not taken the opportunity to participate, please spend a few minutes of your day and participate
by completing the survey. You will be investing in the future professional learning opportunities available to us as Georgia agricultural educators.
Please consider helping improve the Professional Learning opportunities available to Agriculture Educators in Georgia. The link below will take you to a brief survey consisting of several questions about your current
teaching situation, as well as questions for you to provide input regarding certain professional development topics. Thank you for your assistance.
You are being asked to participate in a survey research project entitled “Professional
Development Needs vs. Experience Level: A Study of Georgia’s Agriculture Educators,”
which is being conducted by Phillip
at Valdosta State University and current agriculture education teacher at Evans High School in Evans, GA. This survey is anonymous. No one, including the researcher, will be able to associate your responses
with your identity. Your participation is voluntary. You may choose not to take the survey, to stop responding at any time, or to skip any questions that you do not want to answer. The survey will only take a few minutes of your time, but will provide valuable
information to assist in directing professional development opportunities for agriculture educators across Georgia. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this study. Your completion of the survey serves as your voluntary agreement to participate
in this research project and your certification that you are 18 or older.
Questions regarding the purpose or procedures of the research should be directed to Phillip
