Fellow Ag Teachers,
Many of you have asked about the possibility of providing a workshop or teacher training for parliamentary procedure. I am happy to share the following information:
There will be six training activities (one in each area) that will cover the basics on preparing a team for the FFA parliamentary procedure Career Development Event. You will be getting more information from your region office regarding details as the events get closer, but I wanted to make you aware of this now and encourage you to consider attending any of the following training activities. They are being planned in conjunction with other area events already on the calendar in order to make it more convenient for you to attend.
Area One – Thursday, August 28 (teachers only) at Taylors Farm
Area Two – Tuesday, August 26 (teachers only) at East Jackson High
Area Three – Thursday, December 11 (teacher & students) at Fort Valley State
Area Four – Tuesday, December 9 (teachers & students) at South East Bulloch High
Area Five – Tuesday, October 21 (teachers & students) in Tifton (in close proximity to the Colquitt EMC training)
Area Six – Monday, October 20 (teachers & students) at Satilla EMC
Hopefully this will help provide the necessary information and training needed for your chapter to have a team prepared for competition in parliamentary procedure.
As always, Thank-You for being a positive part of your students life.
