2014 Floral Design CDE - Miller County High - 9-23-14
*Jr’s will be completing 2 designs based on scenarios given. *Sr’s will complete 1 design based on scenarios given, take a written exam and complete a 25 item identification quiz.
Student sign-in will begin at 4:00 P.M. and the CDE will begin at 4:30 P.M. Please be sure that your students are on time.
Official dress is not required, but is encouraged.
Reminder -- students will need to bring the following tools:
*needle nose pliers OR round nose pliers
*bucket for extra floral product
*hand held broom/dustpan
Consumable supply fee is $15.00 per student. Fee can be paid prior to the contest or on the day of the CDE. All participants must have paid prior to beginning the contest. There will be no refunds given for no show students as materials must be purchased prior to the event.
The designs can be taken home by the student at the end of the competition and judges review if chapters choose to wait until the contest is over. All designs left on site will be donated to the host school to use as they wish.
