Hello Everyone!
MEDLIFE at UGA would like to invite everyone to our 4th annual Benefit Concert on
Saturday, October 18th 2014. This event will take place at Nuci's Space downtown. Doors open at 7:15pm, and the tunes begin at 7:30pm. All the money raised during this event will go towards MEDLIFE's MEDFund.

What exactly is MEDLIFE?
MEDLIFE (Medicine, Education, Development for Low-Income Families Everywhere) is a non-profit organization that works to provide sustainable healthcare, education and community development in Peru, Ecuador, Tanzania and India. MEDLIFE is able to achieve all of this through the money raised by various MEDLIFE chapters across the US & Canada.

Our Fall Benefit Concert is a large fundraiser we host in order to raise awarness and funds for MEDLIFE's cause! That being said, the acts performing at our concert will be: Kick The Robot, Abel, Grant Cowan (and Julie Holmes), and the Nick Austin Trio. We will also be selling
pizza, and King of Pops will be hanging out with us!

The tickets will be $7 at the door or $5 for pre-sale at our next MEDLIFE meeting (
October 14th at 7:30, MLC 214). To encourage attendance we will also be raffling many prizes, like gift cards to local Athens eateries, and a grand prize of a $100 gift card courteous of Lakeside Apartments. There will also be an auction for a R.E.M. gift basket full of memorabilia donated by the band! Cash and cards will be accepted at the door!
We hope to see you guys there, and send us an email at [log in to unmask]
if you have any questions regarding the pre-sale tickets. Check out the Facebook event for more information.
