Teachers,
The Thomasville FFD was held yesterday at the Thomas County Agri-Center. Big thanks to Mr. Jerry Stone, Ag Ed Teacher at Thomas County Central for hosting the event and securing sponsorship in order to provide Wal-Mart Gift cards in the amounts of $20 and $10 to the top two individuals in each event. A huge thanks to the Flint District of the Georgia Forestry Commission for assisting in setting up the events and assisting in scoring the events. Mr. Trent Ingram, Flint District Manager, and the Foresters and Rangers of the Flint District are to be commended on an exceptionally fine field day. Thanks to Mr. Jimmy Mock for coming all the way to Thomasville to bring some north Georgia tree specimens and assisting in the Tree Identification event.
