During the State Convention, nearly 300 FFA members and advisors lived out the Living to Serve portion of the FFA motto by participating in a community service program with the Rebuilding Macon organization. Mr. Kevin Jump served as coordinator
of the program. I am very proud of the chapters who participated and of Mr. Jump for his effort in putting together a wonderful day of service.
Georgia Farm Bureau did a fantastic job of covering the State Convention and will feature the Convention in an upcoming episode of the The Farm Monitor television show. Below is a link to a story that will be included in the episode. This story focuses on the community service projects. Great job to all of the FFA members and advisors who lent a hand!
