Cultural Capacity Certificate Program


Interested in internationalizing your UGA experience? The Cultural Capacity Certificate Program, facilitated by the Department of International  Student Life, allows students to explore their own cultural identities and learn how culture impacts and shapes the world and interactions with each other. The Cultural Capacity Certificate Program also will explore global leadership and understand how culture impacts leadership around the world.

Come and join us at one of our information sessions to learn more about the program, the requirements, dates, and how to apply!

Save-the-Date: International Street Fest 2016


International Street Fest Committee Chair Applications Are Now Open!


Applications are now open for the 2016 International Street Festival Committee Chairs! International Street Festival will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Downtown Athens.
Committee chairs will have the opportunity to lead a group of students in creating different portions of the Street Festival experience and will be able to gain leadership, communication, marketing, and fundraising skills as a part of the experience.
This year, we will have 5 committees: Advertising & Marketing, Children’s Corner, Entertainment, Fundraising, & Table Displays. Committee chairs will have weekly meetings throughout the Spring semester as a part of working with International Street Festival.

Applications are now open and are due by Friday, October 2 at 12:00pm!

Portuguese Language Table

Beginning Monday, August 31st, The Portuguese Language Table will be located at 'Tween The Pages in the Lobby of the Main Library on Monday's from 4-5 pm for those wanting to learn more about the Portuguese Language.
This activity is hosted by the Portuguese Program and is sponsored by the Brazillian Student Association
