RE:      My American Farm Outreach Grants

We are looking for 10 schools to take part in our My American Farm Outreach Grant Program for 2016. Participating schools will receive $1,500 to further efforts to share the importance of agriculture in our everyday lives. Grants are available to any middle or high school classroom that is willing to reach out to elementary school classrooms during the spring or fall of 2016 by doing an agricultural outreach event. Applications are due April 30th.

For specifics and the application visit our dedicated page, http://www.agfoundation.org/projects/2016-my-american-farm-outreach. See the attached PDF for examples of how some FFA chapters are connecting with elementary schools.

MyAmericanFarm.org is an educational learning platform, which features more than 20 games about agriculture and free, standards-based lessons and resources for teachers. Visit the Share Our Story page to find turn-key resources for groups interested in outreach.
