A unique opportunity is available for someone interested teaching high school and adults in the Northeast Georgia area. Franklin County High School has a strong traditional Agricultural Education program with an emphasis on excellence and student success. This full time, extended day, 12 month position is available to a self motivated person who can relate to community members, have strong agriculture knowledge and a willingness to learn along side others. This job requires classroom instruction with high school students and educational training sessions with adults. The successful candidate will teach one class of agricultural education during the morning and then work with adult learners in the community for the remainder of the day. The state Program of Work requirements will be expected to be met each year. FFA duties may be required. Work with the Franklin County Young Farmers Association is required.
