XLR8 Applications Are Due Friday, July 15

You only have seven days left to get us your XLR8 application.

We are passionate about meeting the needs of all our members. That's why we developed XLR8 — the eXcellence in Leadership for Retention professional development program — to meet the needs of mid-career agriculture teachers.

Our goals for XLR8 participants are:

  • mid-career level-specific professional development
  • development as a teacher leader to help you mentor other teachers
  • an increase in overall longevity and satisfaction of participants with your chosen career of teaching agriculture 

The XLR8 program includes participation in an intensive professional development experience (multiple sessions) during the NAAE convention, recurring virtual learning experiences, and online collaboration using the NAAE professional learning community, Communities of Practice, as well as other social media tools.

Consider applying for this career-changing experience. Applications are due Friday, July 15.

XLR8 is an initiative of NAAE, made possible by funding from CSX as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.
