The following information is regretful and warrants attention. The ag wiring handbook has been a useful resource in our EMC CDE for some time.
If you would like to purchase an updated version, I encourage you to go to the RERC website (www.rerc.org) and do so before the announced date below in David's email.

To all Wiring Contest folks:
I just learned last Friday that due to financial constraints and declining income, the Rural Electricity Resource Council (RERC) is being dissolved effective December 1, 2016. As you may know, the RERC is the publisher of the Agricultural Wiring Handbook that is a key resource for the FFA Wiring Contest. The latest edition, printed in 2015, is the 17th edition and is based on the current 2014 NEC.
If you need to order any of these for yourself or to give as a resource to ag teachers in your area, you need to do so as soon as possible. I have talked to the RERC today and they do have a quantity of the books available. The books are only $20.95 each for RERC members and $24.75 for non-members. Books may be ordered from their website at www.rerc.org.
