Subject: FW: Youth Small Ruminant Day, January 3rd in Monticello

Hello All,

We are hosting a program on January 3rd, here in Monticello, directed towards youth that have small ruminant projects. The majority of the day will focus on FAMACHA. Those age 16 and up will receive a FAMACHA© card and certificate for completing the training. We will also have a session on small ruminant nutrition.

Our target audience is youth 4-H and/or FFA members and their parents whom do projects (showing, raising, etc.) with small ruminants (sheep, goats, and camelids), and interested Ag. Teachers and Extension Agents.

I have attached the flyer we’re going to spread, as well as the schedule.

If you have any questions, please holler back. Thanks for passing this along to interested participants.

If you would like to come as well, we’d love to have you! I urge you, if you are interested to try to sign-up in the next week, we may end up having to restrict participants.

Take care,

Trey Gafnea
