> Subject: Penning Assignments for 2017 Ga. Jr. National Swine Show
>
> Good Afternoon,
>
> Please find attached the penning assignments for the show in Perry later this week. SS1=Sheep Swine 1 or the old west barn, SS2=Sheep Swine 2 or the new east barn. We have 852 pens for the reported 1800 pigs coming to the show. This works out to be 2.11 pigs per pen. We all know that not all 1800 will show up, but I have no way of knowing who will or will not show up and have to assign pens to everyone. Penning assignments take into account participation rates over the past 4 years. I am confident that by 6:00 Wednesday night everyone will have the pens they need (2 pigs to a pen). Please do not ask for or take extra pens, there are none. Both barns are completely full. I did my best to meet everyone’s penning requests, however there were a few groups whose requests could not be accommodated. I have also attached the barn layouts.

> I will not be in the office tomorrow, I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday.
