We still have space available on Georgia's bus trip to the Washington
Leadership Conference for students. It's an amazing opportunity for FFA
members. Most students return from WLC on fire for FFA and become a driving
force of their chapter's leadership team. If you have students that are
considering it, this would be a great year to attend! 


The dates for the WLC bus trip are June 19-25, 2017. The student conference
fee is $1,065. This fee covers most meals, lodging, conference material, and
bus transportation. A registration form is attached. All WLC registration
material is due to the State FFA Office by April 3. A $450 deposit is due
with the registration form. The remaining balance for WLC is due to the
State FFA Office by May 12. Please make all checks payable to the Georgia
FFA Association. Do not use the Ag Career Network to register. Please send
all registration information to the State FFA Office. 


I realize WLC is a huge financial commitment. Many chapters are successful
in securing funds from local businesses (like Farm Bureau, Farm Credit,
Cattleman's Association, etc.) so that students are only responsible for a
portion of the cost. You never know until you ask!
