Junior Advisors are responsible for providing basic information about education abroad opportunities to UGA students and assisting the Education Abroad unit in the Office of International Education. Junior Advisors are the first line of contact for many students interested in education abroad. They lead weekly information sessions, deliver classroom presentations, conduct walk-in advising sessions to answer questions about international experiences, and assist with administrative work including application management. Junior Advisors refer students to an Education Abroad Advisor for a one-on-one advising session, if needed. Junior Advisors also play a crucial role in special projects for Education Abroad, and are instrumental with promotion and assisting with annual large events such as the OIE Open House and the Study Abroad Fairs in the Fall and Spring semesters.

This position will remain open until filled; however, completed applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. If considered there will be a Skype or in-person interview. All applications must be in by April, 16th. References will be contacted for candidates selected for an interview. Please contact [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> with any questions.
