*Area Meats Evaluation CDE's for 2018*



*Registration:* 4 PM    * Contest Starts:*  4:30 PM



*Area 4:*  Toombs County High School Ag. Center - Tuesday, September 25th

*Area 3*:  Camp John Hope - Thursday, September 27th



*Senior Students:*  25 ID cuts, 3 Placing Classes, AND

*Quality and Yield Grade Exercise *

     Students will have 1-3 ribeyes to Quality and Yield Grade using help
sheets

     Students will have the Quality Grading Help Sheet, and be given
Maturity, KPH and Hot Carcass weight.

     They will be required to know the Yield Grade Formula, the 5 Yield
Grades, judge Marbling and Backfat.



*Junior Students:*  20 ID cuts, 3 Placing Classes



*Meats CDE TEAM *consists of 3 members only.  All three scores count.



*T-shirts are available:*  Proof is attached.  *Cost:*  $10,* Deadline for
T-shirts is Wednesday, September 12th*

Go Event Registration

Select either* Meats Evaluation CDE - Area 3* or* Meats Evaluation CDE -
Area 4.*

Click on the Edit for each team that you are registering

Click on the Edit for T-shirts that you order.  You can then print out an
invoice.

*Registration Ends:  Wednesday, September 12th at 11 PM.*
