Again this year Farm Credit is hosting an agricultural mechanics contest at the Sunbelt Ag Expo in October. The guidelines for the competition are attached.

Students will be asked to build a structure according to the guidelines and have that structure onsite at the Sunbelt Expo for display and judging. As you will see in the guidelines, the Farm Credit staff has worked with the Georgia National Fair to help remove some of the stress on students who plan to enter the same project in the Georgia National Fair ag mechanics contest and at the Expo.

To register for the contest, find the Farm Credit Ag Mechanics contest registration in our Georgia AgEd/FFA online registration site. Registrations for this contest must be submitted by October 1. This year Farm Credit is allowing each chapter to enter a maximum of 5 projects.  Please be sure to share these guidelines with your students, and ensure that they follow the project requirements.

If you have questions, the contact information for the Farm Credit staff is listed on the guidelines. Have a great day!
