Good Morning! I hope you are having a great week. An FFA parent in my county has a wonderful opportunity available for those interested in joining the North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club. The email I have forwarded has all the information needed, as well as Mr. Ledford's contact information. I was wondering if you could possibly pass this information forward?

Thanks so much!

Hello Georgia FFA Chapters,

I would like to introduce you to a local club in the community that might be of interest to some of your students. The North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club was founded in 1988, to promote the preservation and restoration of antique tractors and antique farm equipment. We are a non-profit organization registered in Georgia. We serve the metro Atlanta area and have members all across the metro area. We welcome all brands of farm equipment into the club. In fact, you don’t even have to own a tractor to be in the club. We like to showcase some of our equipment in several shows, festivals and parades.

Along with having fun with our antique tractors we also like giving back to the local community. One of the ways we do this by raising funds during the year to provide scholarships to students in agriculture related areas. The scholarship is typically $1000.00.  We have also given toys to Toys for Tots, collected food for food pantries and made a donation to Clark’s Christmas Kids.

We have a website located at http://www.ngtcc.org. The website contains more information as well as our calendar of events. Our scholarship and membership application can also be downloaded from the site. You can post our brochure located on our About Us page or directly at http://www.ngtcc.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/NGTCC_Brochure_2016.pdf on your bulletin board or share with your students. (It might be slow to load.)

Should you have any additional questions or want any more details about the club, please feel free to contact us using the above details. Hopefully, we will see you or some of your students at an event soon. Please come up and introduce yourself to one of our members.

Some of you might be in areas outside of metro Atlanta, you are more than welcome to be a part or attend any of our events. If you are interested in a local club please look at the links section on our website listed above. I have a list of the clubs I currently know about in Georgia. Some of them also offer scholarships to students. If you have a local club that is not listed, please let me know and I will add it.

Sincerely yours,

Keith Ledford
