Could you please send this out to 4H & FFA, as we have had several calls asking about the Dress Code for the 2018 Georgia National Fair.
Remember this is Suggested, Not Required.
Dress Code
In an effort to encourage professionalism among our Jr. exhibitors and to promote the youth organizations that are involved in the Jr. livestock project. Suggested Dress Code: Show Ring Dress Code: All junior exhibitors are encouraged to wear one of the following: exempt Jr Commercial Dairy Heifer exhibitors.
A. 4-H Member: An official 4-H vest, jacket, or pullover wind jacket. Exhibitor must be of the appropriate colors of solid green, solid white, or a mix of green and white. Must have an official 4-H emblem of at least 2½ inches permanently affixed to the front and left side of the vest or jacket. Exhibitor must wear a collared shirt under the vest or jacket that is the appropriate colors of solid green, solid white, or a mix of green and white.
B. 4-H Member: A buttoned up, collared shirt or polo shirt, short or long sleeve, of the appropriate 4-H colors of solid green, solid white, or a mix of green and white. No third color mix or additional colors are allowed. Exhibitor must have an official 4-H emblem of at least 2½ inches that is permanently affixed to the front, left side of the shirt.
C. FFA Member: An official FFA corduroy jacket, pullover wind jacket, softshell jacket or vest. A pullover wind jacket, softshell jacket or vest must be of the appropriate colors of solid blue, solid yellow, or a mix of blue and yellow. Must have an official FFA emblem of at least 2½ inches permanently affixed to the front and left side of the jacket options or vest. Exhibitor must wear a collared shirt under any of the jacket options or vest that is of the appropriate colors of solid white, solid blue, solid yellow, or a mix of blue and yellow.
D. FFA Member: A buttoned up, collared shirt or polo shirt, short or long sleeve, of the appropriate FFA colors of solid white, solid blue, solid yellow, or a mix of blue and yellow. No third color mix or additional colors are allowed. You must have an official FFA emblem of at least 2½ inches that is permanently affixed to the front and left side of the shirt.
E. first, second, or third grade student (not yet enrolled in 4-H): A solid white, buttoned up, collared shirt or polo shirt, short or long sleeve; and jeans. No 4-H emblem can be worn by exhibitors not enrolled in 4-H.
