Dear State Staff,

In an effort to meet requests of both students and advisors, FFA is extending the deadlines for the FFA Scholarship Application as well as the Advisor Validation and other supplemental documents. The new deadlines are as follows:

Application: Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 11:59 PM EST

Endorsements and Supplemental Documents: Thursday, January 30, 2020 - 11:59 PM EST

All students within the scholarship application system will receive an email with the new deadline dates. Students who opted in for text messaging, will also receive a text update.  In addition, any email within the application system for an advisor validation or supplemental form will also receive an email with the new deadline dates.

For students having difficulties with the on-line application or needing assistance with their FFA Membership ID, they can find several resources for help at FFA.org/scholarships under the “Need Help?” section or contact scholarship support at 1-855-332-2577.

If you are an advisor with questions about the validation process, please see the advisor resources tab at FFA.org/scholarships. We have just uploaded an Advisor Validation Tip Sheet that will walk through the process. 

Things to Remember:

• Only use one form of outreach for assistance as every new inquiry just adds a layer of delay to the original request;
• ISTS has up to 48 business hours to respond to emails and phone calls;
• ISTS has up to 2 business hours to respond to text requests;
• Once a student or advisor has put in a request for assistance through the ISTS system, the ISTS Customer Care staff will work with those in the queue to resolve any issues even after the closing of the application.

Please note, the extension of the application process will not affect the date for notifications and acceptance. Your State Staff FFA Applicants Report will still be sent to you on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.  Thank you in advance for your support in sharing this information to your state’s FFA Advisors and teachers.
