Peace Corps on Campus

The Peace Corps will be on campus to talk about "Sustainable Development:
Global Perspectives" on Tuesday, August 24, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Tate
Center, Room 140. At 8:00 p.m. they will be giving more information on
Peace Corps at the Ebony Showcase, hosted by UGA's Minority Services and
Programs in Memorial Hall Ballroom, 2nd Floor. Then on Wednesday, August
25, at 2:00 p.m. they will have a roundtable discussion with the first
International Master's Program student from UGA in the Georgia Center, Room

The International Student Life Office maintains a housing bulletin board
for international students.  If you are interested in posting information

off-campus housing for fall.  If you are interested in rooming with
international students or have any vacancy information, please contact ISL.

Job Openings in International Education

The Institute of International Education-Southern Region in Houston, Texas
is looking for an assistant to provide administrative assistance in the
delivery of educational services to IIE grantees from abroad attending
academic institutions in the region, and promotion of study abroad
programs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree and at least two years
administrative experience; thorough knowledge of business English,
geography and higher education; excellent communication/interpersonal and
computer skills, plus the ability to organize a high volume of work.

Internship in International Affairs - IIE Houston

The Alice R. Pratt Internship in International Affairs promotes
international careers for students studying at IIE member campuses.
