Hello all. Our next round of FFA CDEs is the week after Thanksgiving. December 3 will be area 5 at SRTC in Thomasville. We have Creed (prelims), Floriculture and Wildlife. All events have a 3:45 registration and 4/30 start time. Below is an email from SRTC and chart as well as attachments for the campus. Let us know if you have questions.
In the email that I sent this morning concerning the events on December 3.....please disregard all of the chart as far as the individual rooms/locations of the events. Some of this has changed since its creation. Parking has not changed! Please park in this area. Look at the attachment "Ag Event Building D" and know that *ALL* students and advisors should go to room 119 for registration. Going to any of those rooms could get you lost or DISQUALIFIED! Let's not let any of those scenarios come to life.
Another great day yesterday conducting FFA CDEs! Once again, THANK YOU Ware County HIgh! Annabelle, Eric, Jay, and James, you are all so professional and accommodating! Congratulations to those from Area 6 that will represent the South Region at the State FFA Quiz at ABAC on December 14....

It's November, which means it's time to work on our plan for proficiencies.
Our goal in the South Region was to have proficiencies started in the Application Manager by the end of this month. This early start will help us tackle any 'getting started' issues. This email contains a few tips to help prevent you from wanting to pull your hair out once school starts back in January.
I have included a link to the video recording of our Proficiency Zoom call below. As you begin working on your proficiencies, please let me know if you have any questions.
I have linked a presentation that includes all of the pictures of the plants that were at both the Albany Fair and the Waycross Fair. This presentation does not have the plants in the order that they were at the fair—instead, it is designed to help you have something to help your students study. The presentation begins with plants that are on both the junior and senior lists and ends with plants that were only on the senior list.
