Good morning. It's time once again to have your monthly reports completed. These are due, as always on the 10th. By now you have it all under control. (If not, continue to work to do so, and call if you need help) Please make sure your activities showcase your work with your students. Please put as much detail as possible to give more validity to the report. Also remember there should be a minimum of 4 SAE visits/contacts per month. CDEs are great, but let's make sure we are going beyond those few students for our program.
Teachers, in an effort to help you better prepare for the Farm and Agribusiness Management CDE, here is the list of topics/areas that will be utilized to create this year's test. This will be used at both the local and state levels.
Financial statements, Budgeting, Investment analysis, Risk Management, and Economic principles -- basically terminology in the Farm Management Book and the Farm and Ranch Business

Teachers, as we are getting in the swing of things with CDEs and LDEs, please remember that it matters what your team/individual score is at these events. I'm not saying that you have to win all of them, but your students do need to be prepared for the events. Your POW credit for these events is dependent on the score that day.
