Last week during the South Region Rally, Zeke Chapman with Magnolia Loom/Support Georgia Agriculture/Rally Apparel Co-Op joined us to sell South Region merchandise and other products. Unfortunately one of the t-shirts they sold has Georgia misspelled. This was a complete and honest mistake by Zeke and his team. A teacher reached out to him after the event to tell him about the error. Zeke has reached out to me to get this issue resolved and set up a form to fill out so that he and his team can get refunds processed. So far two people have reached out

Good morning teachers. Wow! I would have never thought the snow/ice would stick around this long. I know we have many schools still out. Because of that I have decided to extend the deadline for submitting Ag Ed Lesson Plans and Speech Manuscripts. The new deadline is Thursday, January 30 AT 4:00pm! I certainly would love to have them at Mid-winter conference and by all means if they are ready, bring them. Here at my home in Moultrie we had 4-6" depending on where you put the measuring stick. I have heard of may school closures continuing into tomorrow, not the least of which is Bacon County that was hosting.

Why not put them in a prepared speaking competition? The South Region Prepared Public Speaking LDE is scheduled for March 6 and registration is currently open. Registration will close on January 24. Please remember to register your student, *AND*, bring *4 *copies of your student's manuscript to the Mid Winter Conference, South Region meeting on January 28. Please put your student's manuscript in a manila folder with your chapter name

The Ag Education CDE is an opportunity for a student ( just one of your potential Ag Teachers) to develop a lesson plan, prepare and teach the lesson, and mimic your side of the desk.
