I saw this and thought you might be interested. There is no date set yet
for when historical map scans will actually be accessible to the public
from the USGS Store's Map Locator interface.
Historic Map Scan ?Loader? Application: Work has begun on a new "loader"
application that will allow historic map scan products in GeoPDF format to
be added to the Geospatial Data Architecture and made accessible via the
USGS Store's Map Locator interface. This work is being conducted as a
cooperative effort between Jeff Wendel, SIS, and Steve Skelton, National
Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC), and will serve the needs
of both historic map scans and eventual graphic products from The National
Map.
