I would object to having my comments automatically posted to
Facebook. I
have not joined for a reason. I would think those folks with major
institutional ties (quite a few) would also have objection to this,
since your automated signatures also tie the posts to your respective
institutions, which raises all sorts of other issues. This is markedly
different than a list archive where one must go to review old posts.
