Subject: Duplicate USGS maps
Sender: "Mark A. Thomas" <[log in to unmask]>
We got a duplicate shipment of a portion of USGS shipping list
2002-03-TS. This consists of two Colorado relief maps (one reprint of
1894 map, other a modern color shaded relief), 3 pacific islands, and a
poster on volcanoes.
Did all U.S. depositories get these duplicates?
In any case, I'll send anyone these extra maps.

Items 2,3,4,7,20,21
WARNING: The end of the mailing tube had been damaged in shipment and
the Colorado maps are very much, and probably permanently, wrinkled at
the end. They're bad enough to have claimed for damaged goods if they
hadn't been second copies that we don't want.
