Hello Everyone:

I have a bit of a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with.

I am working on a project which requires the 6 character code with
appears in the upper right
  corner of the USGS 1:250K topographic maps.  I have been unable to find
a listing of these
  codes.  My understanding was that they were military assigned but
looking both at USGS and
  the National Imagery and Mapping agency has done no good.

Any guidance in finding this information would be greatly appreciated.
